Parables of the Mustard Seed

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

The mustard seed is about human faith. It is about the faith of the Messiah and his power of the coming Kingdom. If a person has faith as small as a mustard seed he will grow ten times than before and becomes prosperous. He can accomplish whatever he likes. People will come and listen to him and obeys him as a king. People will dwell on him and bless him because of the courage and strength he gives. The birds or the angels will come and minister for Him.

And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea'; and it would obey you. (Luke 17:6)

And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. (Matthew 17:20)
